It’s that time of year again - do you feel a wee bit different? Yes, no, maybe so? I do in some ways, others not as much - but there’s good in that, too.
My brother just told me about a saying he heard (wish I had the name to give credit), it goes like this, “If you’re not changing it, you’re choosing it.”
Wow, kind of harsh, but a good reality check, I must say. I decided to print it out and put it on my desk - and that led me to making a list of things I wanted to seriously work on - and after reading Atomic Habits by James Clear this past weekend, I feel good to go :)
On the flip-side, I started to mentally list the things I would never want to change - the little and big things that I love about my life - so yes I choose those, and feel so very grateful.
Thought you might like my go-to yearly reflection-booklet. It’s called The Year Compass. It doesn’t cost a thing - just hit and print. It’s become kind of a tradition for me to share it at this time of year.
